The incomparable e-bike charger

The waterproof charger is specially designed to store up to 3.3 A / 120 W of solar energy directly, efficiently and safely in your e-bike battery. The intelligent device always keeps the charging voltage in the right range, even with different power levels, and is therefore extremely battery-friendly. To ensure safety, it is equipped with various protective functions, such as overload, overcurrent, short-circuit protection and control of the final charging voltage. In order to always get the most energy from the solar module, we have integrated MPP tracking and efficient voltage converters minimize self-consumption. In addition to the option of charging via solar, you can also charge your e-bike using an adapter at the 12V vehicle socket in the car and at the normal socket. This means you always have a charging option on your tours. Durability is extremely important to us, which is why we only use the highest quality components and coordinated heat management. You can attach the charger in no time at all with the clamp arm with a fall rate of 0% in the test.

stable, durable and made for travel

Our 120 WP version is made for every adventure, no matter what the terrain. To ensure a secure hold, we use a lock with four stainless steel screws and an extremely stable frame, made in Germany. The module is divided into two 60W modules connected in parallel to ensure as little loss of performance as possible in the event of partial shading. In addition, the robust solar cells from SunPower are split in half so that the bending has no effect on efficiency. During the ride, a spring steel keeps the module under tension and thus protects the cells from performance degradation. The solar module can be completely detached from the frame using the 4 handle screws in order to receive full power during breaks or to equip the garden shed at home with the module when there is no tour planned. Despite the enormous power, you hardly notice the additional weight of 6 kg due to the weight distribution and can easily attach your saddlebags.

Bikepacking without limits

Don't let the battery level spoil the unique bikepacking experience. Charge in untouched nature like you would from a power outlet and reach places that no e-bike has ever reached. With the triple charging option, no valley, no lake, no mountain and no unforgettable moment will be denied to you.

Everything has been thought of

It was important to us that you can enjoy your new freedom without any hassle. That's why the Solarride has a plug & play principle with easy attachment of the charger using the clamp arm holder. So that you are prepared for all eventualities, the delivery also includes a lock, a waterproof packing bag, an adapter cable for charging from the 12V on-board socket and a power supply for charging from a normal mains socket.

Prevent your battery from aging by keeping it in the optimal charge range of 50 to 70% and avoiding harmful deep discharges.

If the sun hits the solar panel, your e-bike will charge while you ride, but with less output than if the solar panel is perfectly aligned. In addition, the charging port on your e-bike must be placed in a suitable location so that the cable does not bother you while you ride or block the pedals. Charging while you ride does not damage the battery, as the electricity seeks the easiest path and is fed directly into the motor when there is a load.
Our universal charger was specially developed for e-bike batteries and the individual manufacturers, such as Bosch, Yamaha, etc. are individually integrated after extensive stress tests. This means that the SunLight charger has exactly the same safe charging quality as the original charger and the battery does not lose any capacity like with cheap alternatives. The development of the charger and the integration is supervised by long-standing experts in charging technology from Germany. To guarantee battery-friendly charging, the charge is adjusted depending on the battery voltage and the final voltage of the charger is 41.5V to avoid overcharging. The fluctuating charging power when charging via solar also has no harmful effect, as the charging voltage is kept constant and a lower charging power is even more battery-friendly than, for example, with a 6A charger.
With the charger you can also charge your e-bike using a normal socket or even a car socket. This means you always have a charging option and nothing stops you from going on your tours.
